The English-language screenings of Ukrainian animation The Stolen Princess will start on March, 29th and will take place in cinema theaters of Kyiv and Odessa.

Also on one day, March 29th, screenings with a sign language translation will happen in Lviv and Lutsk.
The partners of English-language release of The Stolen Princess are British Council Ukraine and GoGlobal initiative.
We remind that Ukrainian version of animation was released on 7th of March. Its box-office has risen up to UAH 33 225 851 after the third week of The Stolen Princess screening, while the number of viewers reached 448 232. Last week the animation set up the absolute record for Ukrainian-made films: only in two weeks the box office exceeded the amount of UAH 23 032 807, that was the record made three months prior by a war drama Cyborgs.
FYI. The Stolen Princess is the first animated feature film for Ukrainian and international release in the production line of the Animagrad studio. The premiere of the film in Ukraine was March 7, 2018. The rights for its release have been pre-sold to more than 50 territories, including China, South Korea, France, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, countries of the MENA region and Latin America. The Stolen Princess became the winner of the 9th competitive selection of Ukrainian State Film Agency; the sum of state financing amounts to about 20 percent of the film’s total budget of $ 5 000 000.
