The Stolen Princess: The First International Trailer for a Ukrainian Animated Feature Film

Starting from today, first international trailer for the full feature animation The Stolen Princess has been officially released on all official resources of Animagrad studio and The Stolen Princess film as well as on the official FILM.UA Group YouTube channel.  Previously, the Ukrainian trailer was released on the 14th of December and has since garnered over 2 million views, including 1.1 million views from official channel.

The premiere of The Stolen Princess is to take place in Ukraine on 7th of March, 2018. Immediately afterward, the film is set to open theatrically in more than 30 markets, including China, South Korea, Vietnam, Latin America, Northern Africa, Turkey, Poland, Bulgaria, Balkan region, Israel, and others.

The trailer follows Ruslan, a wandering actor who dreams of knighthood and glory but has to save Princess Mila of Kyiv with just his wits for armor. Mila, however, is a damsel who defies distress to its face. With the introduction of the main characters of the cartoon the viewers also briefly learn what challenges they have to overcome, and, more importantly, meet the two charming sidekicks, Hamster and Tomtit.

FYI. The Stolen Princess is the first full feature in the upcoming Animagrad animation lineup for Ukrainian and international markets. The movie is currently in production. It’s been pre-sold to over 30 markets, including China, South Korea, France, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, Middle East, North Africa and Latin America. In 2016, the project won the pitch contest for Ukrainian State Film Agency and is partially financed by the state (20% of the overall production budget of $ 5 million).
