In Berlin goes on European Film Market, where FILM.UA Group’s projects are represented at the booth #151, IFTA Pavilion, Martin-Gropius-Bau. Among the first deals is a pre-sale agreement with Bir Film distribution company, which got the rights for The Stolen Princess animated feature’s theatrical release in Turkey.
The film’s work-in-progress episodes as well as international teaser, were screened earlier for European Film Market participants, attended by more than 50 representatives of international buyers and distributors from around the world. More sale agreements are expected soon.
Ukrainian animated feature The Stolen Princess is the first in Animagrad animation studio’s production slate of animated features intended for international market. It has been already pre-sold to China, South Korea, France and French-speaking territories in Europe, Poland, Bulgaria, Israel, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, as well as countries of the Middle East and North Africa. Animagrad’s second project, Mavka. The Forest Song, now in development, has recently become the first Ukrainian animation project to be presented at the Cartoon Movie pitching and co-production forum (March 8–10) in Bordeaux, France.
